Jefferson County has partnered with everbridge alert system. You can get alerts about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for their Emergency Alert Program. This system enables them to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.
You will receive time-sensitive messages wherever you specify, such as your home, mobile or business phones, email address, text messages and more. You pick where, you pick how.
Please remember the system is only as good as the data you provide them. If you move or change your phone number please update your records.
You also may select multiple addresses. For example if you have a home address in Madras but work or have a vacation home in Condon you could select both address so you always get the information you need regardless of where you are.
