      ***Update: Evacuation Notice unchanged***
      Date: August 01, 2023 @ 4:15 pm
Last night evacuation notices remain unchanged for Perry South and Monty Campgrounds (level 3).
Three Rivers is still at Level 2.
Good progress was made by firefighters last night and today with several resources on the fire to include 2 Air Boss planes that scoop around 1200 gallons of water from the lake and then drop on the fire, 2 doziers, handcrews, retarded drops from air tankers, and more. Map estimates show the fire between 212 and 280 acres. Containment was not figured in at this time but estimated to be a day or two out depended on weather.
Evacuation notices will be reevaluated tomorrow.
