EH SPARKS STATUS REPORT
Reported June 20th, 2021 to the Membership.
In April 2021, during the purchase agreement between the DeMonte Family Trust and the purchaser questions arose regarding the legality of the DeMonte Family Trust Measure 49. The Oregon’s Land Conservation and Development Commission (LCDC) and the DeMonte Family Trust continue to discuss this matter. Both the purchaser and DeMonte Family Trust have extended their purchase agreement in the hopes this matter will be resolved soon.
As a result, on June 14th, 2021, the Court of Appeals of the State of Oregon mediator extended the case in the Appellate Mediation Program for another 30-days (July 15th) abeyance period for the parties to work to resolve the matter.
