A Board Sub-Committee was commissioned in June 2015 to investigate and make recommendations to land use change actions taken by Jefferson County, the first being the Demonte subdivision development and proposed legalization of County Road 577. In July the Association received notice of two more proposed land use changes. These actions lead to the re-organization of the Boundaries Committee to the Boundaries and Land Use Committee (BLUC). The Committee is comprised of Dave Collar, Randy Panek, Joe Parrott, and Jim Shelton. Currently, there are three land use actions being addressed by the Committee and Board; Demonte subdivision proposed road legalization, a property lot line adjustment, and a property re-zoning.
