Between the algae blooms every summer and the fire hazards reducing recreation opportunities… the appeal of the area is being lost.

I have tried the ultrasonic plug in device at home with mixed results. At the cabin I keep the crawlspace rodent free using a battery powered motion detector pest repeller device. It has a strobe light and can be set to alarm with random predator sounds to deter the critters. Works pretty good and the batteries can last up to 6 months.

I would like to add too this message also which we are neighbors next door to The Meng’s. We also are having the same issues of off road vehicles driving threw our property, but most of all we live and maintain a private gravel road that which is about 2000 feet long (Rock house Road) that is off of prospect. The road is posted as a “Private Road” ….”NO Trespassing” but we have caught off road vehicles, other property owners and their guest down our road on a sight seeing adventures. So please any of you property owners reading this…..you are in charge of your guest, make sure they obey and read signs before entry. If caught names, and plate numbers will get reported.

With family issues going on right now it’s not a good time for us to donate. But the one that was purchased can it be returned for a exchange? If I can help with exchange from one to the other. If that isn’t a option …. Randy as president I’m sure we can find some money with in our HOA’s to accommodate our folks at that front office. Just blows me away over all these years even before my time here that something like this never got done. I will help anyway I can but the money is not a good subject on my part or my family.

I see the message about the air condition issue. there is another option for cooling that office down without installing a window unit into the window. there is also a roll around unit that can be purchased that does not have to be mounted, but also when hooked up will still exit that heat out of the office. As a member of 3R I dont understand why you did’nt have one a long time ago?

We visited the food truck for breakfast and found the meal portions to be a great value. Great service, better than expected food and a fair price. It was great to not have to plan a meal and to not have the usual kitchen clean-up. We would love to see more of the food truck in the future.

Although many folks in dissent just made one-line responses, I think the board should take into account the desires of the dissenters.

There’s alot to said for ‘less is more’. Many of the things being considered at this time are ‘hairsplitters’ that don’t warrant being regulated formally.

Perhaps some middle ground – like some general guidelines for homeowners to take into account when planning future projects would be more appropriate.

We all want a well-thought-out approach to our development, but I think many of us would prefer to rely on our neighbors to do the right thing, rather than be further constrained with further regulation.

                          The fewer infringements the better!
