      Oh My Goodness

Did we have a pile today at can sort. Two big weekends back to back made for a pile taller than Wilt Chamberlin could not see over and longer than your best putt on a good day. A dedicated group of 14 showed all up mostly on time, except for the guy with the keys, who will remain nameless at this time. We did go past our 90 minute goal because of some really fowl unidentified contaminates that had to be disinfected before six of our sorters could continue.

A big, Big Thank You to, in alphabetical order: Ashcroft Larry, Backastow Dewey, Bies Kathy, Bies Mike, Ehlers Jon, Ewers Troy, Heintz Connie, McIntyre Donna, Moeller Jerry, Parrott Elaine, Parrott Joe, Patareau Steve, Patareau James, Rosenthal Don, Tapp Randy.

This was such a large, possibly a record pile, that, one of the past VP of the LOA was able to arrange some very special rewards for this group.
A one-year toll free pass to the new bridge crossing from Portland to Vancouver. Free parking at next year’s LOA annual meeting. Pulse, two free tickets to the Culver Craw Dad Festival. Last but not least, a big thank you from all of 3R.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Without the help of all of you the rest of us would not enjoy our assets.
