Last weekend, the Special Districts Association of Oregon handed out its annual awards at a banquet in Portland, with three of the seven statewide honorees hailing from Jefferson County.
Our own Lake Chinook Fire District was honored for outstanding Volunteer Department.
Congratulations to Chief Colfels, the fire district’s board of directors and all the fire department volunteers past and present.
