Lake Chinook Fire and Rescue Board Election
There are three Board positions up for election for Lake Chinook Fire and Rescue. The LCFR Board of Directors primary responsibility is to set service delivery policy, approve and monitor the annual budget, and direct the activities of the fire chief.
The Board meets once each month, occasionally more often to conduct its business. Any person registered to vote in the fire district and any person who owns property in the fire district is eligible to serve on the Board. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in a service vital to this community.
The filing deadline is March 18th. The election is May 18th. To file, fill out the form found at this link

The completed application and the $10 filing fee must be delivered to the Jefferson County Clerk by 5:00 pm March 18th. The positions up for election are
Position 2 – 4 year term
Position 3 – the 2 remaining years of a 4 year term
Position 4 – 4 year term
Three Rivers needs to increase our involvement in the Fire District. Any person registered to vote in the fire district and any person who owns property in the fire district is eligible to serve on the Fire District Board. Step up. Time is running out.
