      Fire Season in Effect May 15th

      Fire season will be going in effect May 15th, 2021 at 12:01am. The reason for the early fire season is due to the fact that we are in a persistent drought condition and the other key piece is that precipitation amounts are in the driest 10% since 1895 in recorded history between January through April.
