There is an out of control wildfire burning near Perry South and Street Creek. Both Perry South and Monte Campgrounds are under a level 1 evacuation order along with all homes and properties along the Metolius River near Street Creek between the two campgrounds. Please be prepared to leave.
The fire is on top – west of Perry South and West of Street Creek but is east of Monte Campground. Perry South and Monte Campgrounds are under a level 1 evacuation order along with the homes near the lake along the Metolius Arm of Billy Chinook. Three Rivers is not under any evacuation orders.

Both fires have calmed down greatly over the last two hours (thankfully). Haystack Reservoir Campground will remain on a level 2 order all other areas including Perry South and Monte Campgrounds will remain on a level 1 evacuation order. Both fires will be evaluated tomorrow but we have made it through the worst part ????
