EH SPARKS STATUS REPORT
Reported March 28th, 2021 to the Membership.
On March 16th, 2021, the Court of Appeals of the State of Oregon submitted notice of the deadline for the filing of Trial Transcripts with the court. That same day Association Counsel request that the case be sent back to mediation because of a positive settlement development between DeMonte and the purchaser. The mediator returned the case to the Appellate Mediation Program and provided a 45-day abeyance while the parties continue to work towards a resolution.
The Board is encouraged with this development and believes that changes in ownership of the DeMonte property will put the EH Sparks matter in a favorable light to resolve.
