EH SPARKS STATUS REPORT
Reported July 18th, 2021, to the Membership.
On June 14th, 2021, the Court of Appeals of the State of Oregon mediator extended the case in the Appellate Mediation Program for another 30-days (July 15th) abeyance period for the parties to work to resolve the matter. On July 15th, 2021, the mediator extended the abatement period to August 16th, 2021. When the abeyance period ends or 49 days from the date the case is reactivated, and the opening brief will be due.
Extend Abatement
On Wednesday, July 21st, a joint conference with the mediator will be held to discuss the status of the matter between LCDC and DeMonte Family Trust and county counsel to discuss the following requests from the plaintiff.
• County Road Report regarding the Sparks Road.
• Scheduling hearing on pending vacation petition
